Get an invite

Someone already on hiya hands you a code. Every member gets a few to pass on, so ask around the communities you're in.

Claim your name

Sign in with Discord, redeem the code and pick your username. That becomes your address, and it's yours from that moment.

Build it and publish

Fill in the blocks, watch the preview, hit publish. Come back and change anything, any time — your link never moves.

Before you ask

What does it cost?

Nothing. hiya is free to use, with no paid tier holding features back and no card on file. It's small and it's meant to stay that way.

How do I actually get in?

You need a code from an existing member. There's no waitlist and no way to buy one — ask in the Discord communities you're already part of, or wait until someone you know has a spare.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You fill in fields and pick from a few options; the page is put together for you. If you can fill in a form you can build a page here.

Can I change my username later?

Yes, from your account settings. Your old name is held for a while afterwards so nobody can grab it and pretend to be you.

Who can see my page?

Nobody until you publish it. Before that only you can open it. Once it's live it's a public web page, so treat anything you put on it as public — and you can take it offline again whenever you like.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Deleting your account from account settings removes your page, your images from the server and any invite codes you hadn't handed out. It isn't a soft delete.
